Dudley Council’s Pilot Scheme Pick up a Cup is launching on October 30th 2023. This pilot scheme is running for 6 months in two Family Hubs- Brierley Hill and Dudley.
Through funds secured from the NHS, Dudley Council’s Children and Young People’s Public Health Team are providing families with an infant 6 months and over, with a FREE free-flow cup.
Free-flow cups are drinking cups for infants, without a valve, that can be used when a child is 6 months old and above.
After consultation with a Family Hub Practitioner or Health Visitor, participating families at Dudley and Brierley Hill Family Hub will be given a FREE free-flow cup and information booklet to support them to make the transition of using a free-flow cup.
In providing FREE free-flow cups to families, Dudley Council’s Public Health Team are working towards the ambition to help give every child the best start in life, and to help every child to grow up free of tooth decay.
