Get Active Outdoors

The Healthy Places team support programmes that help to get people active outdoors. The programmes allow people to meet others as well as supporting them to get fitter and improve their general health and wellbeing.

Healthy Hubs – These are centres based in four parks across the borough. They offer free physical activity classes, a bookable community room and a friendly member of staff offering health information and advice.

Park Active programme – This is a volunteer led fitness session in five parks in the borough.

Ramblers Wellbeing Walks – This is a programme of short friendly walks led by partners and volunteers at different locations across the borough.

parkrun and junior parkrun – Volunteer led with options to run/walk/jog for free over a planned 5K route for adults or a 2K route for 4–14-year-olds.

Outdoor Gyms – There are 13 outdoor gyms across Dudley borough, they are free to use and offer a variety of stations.
