Welcome to Healthy Dudley. This is the new public health website.

Park active

Let’s get active in our local parks. FREE weekly outdoor fitness sessions for groups of all fitness levels.

Qualified volunteers take the group through a 45-minute session. Everyone is able to work at their own level and enjoy the benefits of exercising outdoors. These sessions are family-friendly, fun and suit all ages and abilities. As the sessions are outdoors they may be cancelled in bad weather or volunteer availability.

Why not take a look at more details for each park and our volunteers.

Park Active is also recruiting and training volunteers to deliver the sessions.

For most people physical activity should not pose any problem or hazard, there is a verbal health check before starting a Park Active  session. If you have any concerns about particpating please speak to your GP before attending. Below is a image of some standarised questions for you to check if you are unsure about taking part.
