Where can I get my vaccine from?

The NHS details how you can access your vaccine, book your appointment or find your local centre.  You can also find your local centre via the Black Country Integrated Care Board (ICB) website.

How do COVID vaccines work?

Anyone who gets COVID-19 can become seriously ill or have long-term effects.  Having the COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and others.

The two doses give you stronger and longer-lasting protection.  Research shows that the vaccine reduces your risk of getting seriously ill or dying from COVID-19, reduces the risk of catching or spreading COVID-19 and can protect you against COVID-19 variants.

However, you can still catch and spread COVID-19 after the vaccination so continue to follow the following advice on how to avoid catching and spreading the virus.

Also the Government updates their guidance on how to reduce the spread

As with all vaccines there may be some side-effects, details of these can been found on the NHS website.
