Baked bean wedge

Ingredients
Tin of baked beans
1 medium onion
150g coarse breadcrumbs
1 egg
175g cheese
1 teaspoon oil
2 teaspoons mixed herbs
Method
1 Preheat oven to 180ºC/gas mark 4 and line a loaf tin with parchment paper
2 Mash together the baked beans and breadcrumbs. Leave to stand for 10 minutes
3 Meanwhile grate the cheese and chop the onion
4 Fry chopped onion in a small amount of oil, until soft and transparent
5 Add the grated cheese, onion, beaten egg and herbs to the baked bean mixture until stiff. If not stiff enough add in some more cheese and breadcrumbs
6 Pack into the lined loaf tin and bake on top shelf of oven for about one hour. It is cooked through when browned, feels firm and shrinks from the side of the tin
7 Leave to cool in the tin before removing, slice and serve cold
